Shri Vinod Gupta, the visionary founder of Vedaras Ayurvedic Company, embarked on an ambitious journey to bring ancient Ayurvedic knowledge to the modern world. The company’s story begins in a small village in Rajasthan, India, where Mr. Gupta grew up surrounded by traditional Ayurvedic practices that have been passed down for generations.
Her initial inspiration came from looking at her family’s recipes, which were prepared from herbs collected from the village and the forest. After completing his education in business, Shri Vinod Ji decided to bridge the gap between traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and modern healthcare. This led to the foundation of Singhania Industries Limited in 2007.
To overcome these challenges, Shri Vinod focused on education and transparency. He invested in scientific research to prove the effectiveness of Vedaras’s products, and consulted with renowned universities to conduct clinical trials. This approach ultimately won the trust of consumers and the broader health care community.
Meaning of Ayurveda:
• आयुर्वेदः संस्कृतस्य प्राचीनतमः स्वास्थ्यविज्ञानग्रन्थः अस्ति । आयुर्वेदः “आयुः” इति शब्दद्वयेन निर्मितः “वेदः” “आयुः” जीवनस्य वा वयसः प्रतीकः, “वेदः” ज्ञानस्य प्रतीकः । अतः आयुर्वेदः जीवनविज्ञानम् इति विवक्षितः । आयुर्वेदस्य मुख्यं उद्देश्यं रोगाणां निवारणं, आरोग्यस्य निर्वाहः च अस्ति । एषा उपचारविधिः पञ्चतत्त्वानां (पृथिवी, जलं, अग्निः, वायुः, आकाशः च) सिद्धान्ते आधारिता अस्ति । आयुर्वेदेऽपि शरीरस्य त्रयः दोषाः महत्त्वपूर्णाः इति मन्यन्ते- वायुः, पित्तः, कफः च । अस्य समन्वयेन शरीरं स्वस्थं भवति । आयुर्वेदस्य प्रमुखाः ग्रन्थाः शरङ्गधरसंहिता, चरकसंहिता, सुश्रुतसंहिता, अष्टाङ्गह्रिदयः च सन्ति । सुश्रुतः शल्यक्रियायाः प्रवर्तकः इति प्रसिद्धः अस्ति । आयुर्वेदे न केवलं रोगनिवारणं अपितु स्वास्थ्यं निर्वाहयितुं आयुः दीर्घं कर्तुं च लक्ष्यं भवति । सर्वेषां अङ्गानाम् सन्तुलनं, आहारः, निद्रा, दैनन्दिनं च आयुर्वेदे अपि महत् महत्त्वम् अस्ति ।

Vedarasa Ayurvedic medicine is completely traditional and based on the Samhita written by our former Vedacharyas. The medicine is prepared on the basis of the path shown by Maharishi Dhanvantari, Maharishi Charaka, Maharishi Ashwani Kumar, Maharishi Chawan, Maharishi Sushuta, Maharishi Agnivesh, Maharishi Bheda, Maharishi Jatukarna, Maharishi Prashra, Maharishi Seerpadi, Maharishi Harit, Maharishi Vagbhata. We believe that Ayurveda was born with the Vedas We believe that out of the 14 rattan received during the Samudra Manthan, one Maharshi Dhanvantari came out with Ayurveda in his hand. It was he who took it forward and we are making our medicine on the basis of what Maharishi Dhanvantari found. Ayurveda originated with the Vedas. We prepare and find our medicines in the same way. Even today, we try to make these medicines from wherever we have to bring herbs from our country or abroad and even from the mountains and forests. Apart from this, we are in touch with many Vedacharyas even today It is our constant endeavour to build claims in a timely manner. Another special thing is that the aim of our company is that whatever the benefit will be, we will bring its benefit to every common man by establishing an Ayurvedic University.
